January 2001-

* Yes, the rumor is true. DiST has broken up. A couple of members of the band, not naming names (brandon and matt), have decided that DiST sould be no more. Now, now, don't get your undies in a bundle, not all the members of DiST are calling it quits; guitarist mark alberti, and barry buttress, along with drummer mike medeiros, have picked up guitarist kurt knapp. Hold on to your headphones folks, you're in for a new listen. More info coming and website coming.

* Interview w/ RockTicket went well. Look for it on the later RockTicket.com update along w/ a live performace by DiST.

* T-shirts and stickers fell through. Hopefully getting them at a later date.

October 2000-

* Everyone, please welcome new addition to the band....Mike Medeiros! Our former drummer, Cody Fontes, left the band due to personal reasons. Look forward to seeing Mike in action on Halloween! Hope to see everyone there.

* DiST shirts and stickers will be available soon. Look for them at upcoming shows.

September 2000-

16 th- Show in hughson a huge sucess, everyone dug it and we sold all the CDs we had (which is a good sign). We have been gettin offers like crazy to play shows. School started... its pretty lame.

August 2000-

25 th - Barry has returned from the reserves. Friend to the band, Matt Vaughn, arrived home a couple weeks before barry.

20 th - Sent away demo/presskit packages.

14 th - Still getting tons of inquiries on our CD.

9 th - Finished short CD with Tim Quinn. Copies will be sent away to venues that requested and we will be selling them at future shows.

3 rd - Begun recording a short CD with Tim Quinn.

1 st - A lot of venues has sent us request to play and for presskit/demo packages.

July 2000 -

8 th -Concert in Stockton, Ca. With Phillip Approach (Emmisary), The Raven, Absolute from Sackloth Fashion, Sepate and others.

6 th -Started making arangements with a friend to record short CD.

JUNE 2000 -

11 th-Back-up vocalist and guitarist, Barry Buttress, leaves for basic training Sunday June 11th for 3 months. Site will not be updated because of technical difficulties. Come back soon!

2 n d-Congratulations to Brandon! For graduating high school. We knew he could do it! : ) We wish all the best for him in college.

1 s t -Had a great time at our debut concert on the 27th of May. We had a lot of positive comments and are looking forward to playing again sometime. Thanks go out to everyone that attended and thought of attending! We appreciate your support. God Bless.

14 t h - Recorded a demo for SIBLING RECORDS and took pics for website. Check back soon for news about the record company and our new band pics. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

7 t h - SIBLING RECORDS has asked us for a demo. We are planning on making one very soon.

6 t h - Back up guitarist and vocals, Barry Buttress, will be leaving DiST temporarily on the 12th of June to go to Basic Training for the Army Reserve. He will be gone for about 9 weeks to Fort Knox in Kentucky. In replace of Barry (just for the summer) will be a good friend Patrick Shaw.

1 s t - May 3rd show canceled because of a loss of a friend. Please keep his family in your prayers.
